| UnitingCare Ballarat has delivered support to thousands of people in our community for over 30 years. The agency delivers over 50 services over five main community service areas and administer six kindergartens. We also operate four retail outlets and a budget accommodation venue that further supports our work in the community. UnitingCare Ballarat programs are supported by over 500 hardworking volunteers who work with staff to assist people in our community.

Reid's Thanks Helen MacPherson Smith Trust
Thanks to the generosity of the Helen MacPherson Smith Trust, Reid's Guest House will soon have a new, safe kitchen where residents can cook their own meals. The kitchen will be of particular benefit to permanent guests as it provides a space to gather and socialise as they share cooking tips and learn from staff and each other.

2 - 8 August: National Homeless Person's Week
You can support homeless people in your community by donating to UnitingCare Ballarat. UCB adresses homelessness in Ballarat mainly through our Housing Program, Meals for Homeless People Program - BreezeWay, Supported Accomodation Assistance Program & Reid's Guest House, amongst many other services we provide for people in need. Homelessness Australia states that four main population groups in research have recently emerged overwhelming as homeless - women & children, young people, families & over 55s.
