This is a sensational opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher looking to work in our wonderful Alfredton Pre School.
UnitingCare Ballarat Early Childhood Services provide cluster management to seven kindergartens and one occasional child care program across the Region. These programs provide Early Childhood Education to over 450 children in our community every year.
As the Director/ess to our Alfredton Preschool, you will also deliver sessions for two 4 year old programs. We offer a family friendly work environment, competitive salary and salary sacrificing, along with flexible annual leave entitlements.
To be successful for this role you will have:
- A Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework
- Experience delivering Kindergarten/Early Childhood programs
- Strong interaction and communication skills to liaise with parents and staff within the centre.
- Working with Children Check (E), First Aid and Anaphylaxis qualifications
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a National Police Criminal Check

NIGHT DUTY MANAGER
Permanent Part time
Reid’s Guest House is a service provided by UnitingCare Ballarat to meet the needs of the Ballarat community and the budget traveler. Reid’s provides a range of accommodation solutions including backpacker accommodation, single rooms, ensuite rooms, and emergency accommodation.
Your role will be to provide a high level of front of office customer service to the guests whilst maintaining a safe and professional 24 hour accommodation service. The roster will include 8 to 10 shifts per month, across the seven days, from 4.00pm until 6.00am (including an 8 hour sleepover period). Shift penalties and above award rates apply.
Key selection criteria:
Provide a high level of customer service with the ability to relate to people from all walks of life
Sound literacy and numeracy, cash handling and basic computer skills
Negotiation and communication skills with confidence to deal with difficult situations
Previous experience in the accommodation / hospitality industry would be highly regarded
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a National Police Criminal Check and must hold a full manual drivers license.
