Emergency Relief Welfare Worker (Part Time – 30 hrs per week)
UnitingCare is proud of the support we provide to our clients in our Emergency Relief Program based in our Dana Street offices. Due to a vacancy within the team, there is a need for a Welfare Worker to provides ongoing emergency relief for clients in the form of budget advice, arrange support through vouchers, assistance programs, loans and negotiating with utility companies.
The program will give an experienced welfare worker the opportunity to achieve positive outcomes for clients in a challenging, but deeply rewarding environment.

Relief Staff – Reid's Guest House (Casual or Short Term)
As part of the many services provided by UnitingCare, Reid's Guest House meets the needs of the community and the budget traveler with a range of accommodation solutions including backpacker accommodation, single rooms, ensuite rooms, and emergency accommodation.
There are currently vacancies within the team for relief staff to assist with the 24 hour nature of the Guest House service. Relief staff are required to work a 4 hour evening shift with a sleepover, as well as 8 hour day shifts and weekend shifts. Relief staff engage in a variety of activities including phone answering, guest check ins, guest queries, kiosk purchases and managing linen and room maintenance.
