How you can help?

UnitingCare Ballarat is responsible for many vital community programs that are not eligible for government funding.

Programs like Breezeway - Ballarats only Meals for the Homeless, A full time Emergency Relief Service, Welfare Projects that educate and empower and a wide range of homeless support initiatives.

These programs could not exist without the generous support from hundreds of volunteers.

You can help UnitingCare Ballarat in many important ways:

Giving back to Ballarat... How you can make a real difference.

If Ballarat has special meaning to you, you may want to give back to the people of Ballarat.

You can, by considering a bequest to UnitingCare, and thus the people of Ballarat, as part of your Will.

Nobody likes considering his or her own death, but a Will can be a way of reflecting on your own life and your own personal achievements. A bequest can be a way of leaving a meaningful legacy related to your values and beliefs about society, and a way of helping future generations growing up and living in the Central Victorian region.

Ballarat is a special city, with special people. UnitingCare Ballarat deals with special people all the time.

People who are homeless, overcoming a drug addiction, coping with a disability, dealing with growing old. Here in Ballarat, and in the regions around Ballarat.

UnitingCare Ballarat reaches out to all these people.

But, it costs money to help them. In fact, it costs more than $1100 per day, on top of the money received from the government, to keep all our programs running.

By including a bequest to UnitingCare Ballarat in your will, you are ensuring that those who need help in this region continue to receive vital services. The agency of UnitingCare has a strong doing ethos. We are an integral part of Ballarat and proud of it. When people need help in Ballarat, they think of UnitingCare.

We hope you too, will share in our pride and sense of community by considering a bequest to the agency, and that your life will be enriched by knowing that you will make a significant difference to the people of Ballarat.
