UnitingCare Ballarat Housing Program is the primary entry point for homelessness services in the Ballarat, Bacchus Marsh and Daylesford regions.
The Housing ProgramUnitingCare Ballarat’s Housing Program provides a comprehensive response to individuals and families who are homeless or have a housing crisis.
Transitional Housing Management (THM) has the broad aim of:
- Providing a range of assistance to households in crisis as a result of homelessness or impending homelessness; and
- Assisting households in housing crisis to establish and / or maintain appropriate, secure and sustainable housing through the provision of transitional housing services.
Social Housing Innovations Project (SHIP) The Social Housing Innovations Project (SHIP) is a partnership project with the State Government that provides a long-term housing solution for people on low incomes. 11 houses and 23 units have been built in Ballarat, Wendouree, Bacchus Marsh and Trentham.
Rooming Houses: The Housing Program manages two Ballarat rooming houses for low-income long term residents.
UnitingCare Ballarat Housing News2008 is the 32nd Anniversary of UnitingCare Ballarat’s first housing initiative. Ballarat Parish Mission raised funding through op-shop sales and fundraising initiatives to buy a house to assist women with children.
We now own or manage over 150 properties.
