UnitingCare Ballarat is a proud partner of the fortnightly independent current affairs and entertainment magazine, The Big Issue.  The magazine is sold by homeless and marginalised people and aims to assist these people to gain a sense of financial independence and community involvement.  The magazine enables the vendors to earn their own income by generating sales.  The Big Issue vendors sell the magazine for $5.00 and earn $2.50 from each sale.

• Outside Myers, Sturt Street
• Howitt Street Shopping Strip
• Bridge Mall
