Alcohol and Other Drugs Program

Provides:

  • Assessment, treatment and support services to adults and young people with alcohol and other drug related problems.
  • Residential Youth Withdrawal
  • Support for families, friends and carers of people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs
  • A harm minimisation philosophy: aims to reduce harm associated with alcohol and drug misuse by supporting people to set goals around reduction, abstinence and relapse prevention.
  • Education and support to community services and groups.


Counselling, Consultancy & Continuing Care (CCCC)
provides counselling and support for individuals with alcohol and drug related problems.

Youth Outreach provides counselling and support to youth experiencing problems brought on by the use of illicit drugs and/or alcohol.

YRIPP Youth Referral and Independent Person Program

Intensive Case Management is for people aged 16 - 30 years who have illicit substance use combined with concerns around mental health, acquired brain injury and/or developmental delay.

Supported Accommodation has a rehabilitation focus that assists clients to re-establish themselves in the community.

Behaviour Change Groups
- A behaviour change group for women wanting to develop anger management skills.
- Cautious with Cannabis: a single session that provides education and change strategies around cannabis.
- FOCiS education and awareness for people with first offences related to substance use.

Post Withdrawal Linkage
provides referral and access to ongoing support for clients from the Grampians region who complete a withdrawal program.

Tabor House Youth Withdrawal Unit provides a safe, supportive setting in a rural area where youth aged 12-21 can withdraw from alcohol and other drugs.
